Better late than never! Take a look at our daily life and ministry in Durres, Albania. We’ve loved getting to form relationships and pour into the community. Jesus answered so many prayers by bringing us here. My heart hurts at the thought of leaving in just a week’s time, but I know whatever He’s preparing before us in the Philippines will be to honor and glorify Him.

This video is a VERY small glimpse into what we do. We wake up every morning and have a prayer meeting with the leaders. This is a really special time for everyone. It sets the tone for the rest of the day and I always leave feeling encouraged.

Throughout the day we do various activities from leading Bible studies with the kids, doing house visits, handing out food bags, etc., and we always reconvene at 2:30 to lead a Bible study with the leadership team.

These people live out what it means to be the church in the way I believe the Lord intended. They are intentional, prayerful, compassionate, helpful and they all have a joy about them, even when they walk through the hard things life throws their way. The fact that they make it a point to not just join together in prayer once a day, but twice a day speaks volumes of the commitment they have to Christ and to each other.

After the Bible study, we have evening ministry, which is usually teaching English, working with the youth or working with some other ministry the church has.

We’ve been blessed here, and we pray we’ve blessed them. I was accepted to the World Race in September 2015, and while I knew I was wanting to change the lives of people around the world, I never could have imagined how much they would change mine.

Enjoy the video and be in prayer for this foundation – they’re doing something right!
