After one day of seeking new ministry partners for the organization, there is great success to report!

In a single meeting for Unsung Heroes here in Malaysia, my team and I were connected with so many inspiring individuals. The awesome thing is, we were asked to speak at the service they held, and perhaps inspired a few in the process as well.

It’s day one and already we have met the Malaysia Director of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, who reminds us of the importance of prayer for Israel and will be meeting with me again in the morning. The deputy regional director is full gospel business men’s fellowship is plugged in with more than his organization, and the founder of Kingdom Christian Fellowship is like family to us already, as we prepare to seek ways to support his ministry globally. All these job titles and organizations are enough to make any networker jealous, but ultimately remind me that Jesus is the power networker, who connects us all.

Upon leaving, I talked to a woman who moved here just three months ago with her husband and child from Pakistan. The things she has endured as a Christian in Islamic nations are enough to terrify and inspire the faith of anyone at the same time. She is the second person today that has talked to me personally about the threats, torture, and persecution that was experienced only for being Christian. These are stories that remind me what faith truly is. Faith is the truth that we hold on to even and especially when it is most difficult to do so. It’s easy to be a Christian when things are going our way. What name do we call out to though when we are sick, or when we didn’t get that promotion, or when we are stuck in traffic? Are we calling out praises to God? Or are we turning to the ways of the world? Faith takes action. It’s time to be filled with the kind of faith that inspires someone from across the globe. A faith undeniable to all those that come against it.
