A "Special Update" worthy post!!
This week was the crazy one. YOU know what I'm talking about. That week where you are running on adrenalyn and crazy passion over the subject of your time and attention and find no room to rest or comprehend fully? The one where you just keep moving? You know!!
That week . . . was this week.
I returned from the ship last weekend and then jumped on board the very next mission right away, a speaking engagement for my World Race in Chipley, FL! The kind youth pastor there, allowed me to step in and take up part of his Wed night service to share with my favorite youth group in the world, a little about where God is taking me for the next year of my life! They were so gracious to listen and to give.
At the close of that service, it was time to dive into the ocean that is Revealed Ministries "event week!" And dive I did! With a good friend close at hand, keeping up with my phone and the many contacts coming in, I spent my days and nights communicating with volunteers and sewing (First time in 11 yrs! Thanks Mama!) black backdrop fabric to whatever mix of music happened to play from my ITunes.
Sunday AND Thursday nights had equaled meetings and Thursday and Friday equaled reunion for many! I LOVE MY FRIENDS! We all live WAY too far apart now but the bond could never diminish . . .God sustains 🙂
Friday afternoon equaled "go time." HA! Go we did! In the midst of tornado warnings and unforeseen tech issues, God showed up. He showed up BIG.
As we traversed a new season of Revealed Ministries, enveloped within a year of "transitions," we soaked in every rain drop of grace God brought down and painted away the lies satan attempts to hardened our hearts with.
GOD'S WORD REIGNS SUPREME.
As always, we were blown away! Not literally, thank goodness!! By His goodness, we welcomed a new sister in Christ to the family of God and by His glorious blessing, we were all challenged to believe the truth that we are LOVED. (Unconditionally) by God. His love never fails.
My "storytellers" blew the socks off of the people listening as the victory of Jesus Christ was MADE KNOWN in that little country church! Thank you to New Hinson Baptist Church and Matt Vickers and company for hosting an awesome night of worship. You have begun a revelation of truth within the walls of your church that will not easily be thwarted!
With all of this past week declared, I wish to thank you further (my faithful blog readers) for your patience as I have wavered from my 3 weekly posts. You are awesome 🙂 I will return in order to you this week . . . or so I hope!
Pray for my sister, Jaami, as she brings her first child into this world day after tomorrow!! She and her husband, Tato, could not be more thrilled, as am I! My Mama and oldest sister, Jodi, fly out in the morning to spend 8 days with the couple and with my nephew, Joaquin!!!! Mallori and I will hold down the fort here in PCola. Thank you for your prayers, we appreciate them all!
