It hard to believe that month 8 has come to a close. This
month we work with Iris Ministry’s at their Dondo, Mozambique site. We were
able to love and pray over some children and widows. This month was a month to
listen to the Holy Spirit and what he was calling us to do. We had time to rest;
time to be in the presents of the Lord and to reflect on the relationship that
we have with God. During this time we as a team did a 24 hour prayer, were we
prophecy over each other and to worship the Lord.

One day we were coming home from town, when the truck blew
its tire. With God’s grace no one was hurt. Our driver did a wonderful job in
controlling the truck. Here is a funny picture that our team took while we were
waiting for the tire to get fix…

We were able to go twice a week to the hospital to pray over
the sick. We would take bananas to the patients there and just visit with them.
It was a great experience. We were also able to do home visit in some of the
villages. We would ask the Lord for signs of where we needed to go. We were
able to minister and pray over several people; even had some people give up
Witchcraft bracelets and were saved. We also did street evangelism in Beira the
neighboring town and Dondo. We did prayer walks and sung song in the streets.
Below is a picture of us in Beira.

We went to a village church one Sunday, where Charles
preached. It was neat to see how the African culture worships. We also attend
the church on the base a few Sundays. It was fun to see the people at church
sing and dance while worshiping the Lord.

One of my favorite parts of the month was the Saturday were
we did the Widow Feeding. That day we had worship, prayed over the sick, and
passed out food to the widows. Iris does this each month; basically they give
the widows, enough food for the month. Iris sponsors over 200 widows. There was
a lot of healing that took place that day.

Two days out of the month we were able to go and visit the widow’s
homes, we prayed over them and just showed them love. You can see some of the
pictures of the widows from my blog, Ladies with a Story.

A lot of the widows take care of their grandchildren. Here
are some pictures of the smiling kids that we came across while praying over
the widows. These children have so much joy to have so little. The number one
priority was to love and pour into these children.

That wraps up month 8; it was a great
month for me to draw closer to the Lord. I am excited to see what is in store
the next three months on the race….

Until take time… Take care and God Bless…
