This is how my adventure started…

I boarded a plane in Atlanta headed to LA

Two months ago to start the World Race

Headed to Thailand were I started the race

With my Team Freely Given….

Our first ministry site was in Chiang Mai, Thailand

With the awesome ministry team Outpour Movement

We did all sorts of things

From working with Kids at the Drop-In Center

To doing manual labor at the Promise Land….

At the DIC we did the Chicken Dance

Over and over again….

Sang their favorite Christian song,

“This is the Day the Lord has Made

From the Hookie Pookie,

Sharing God’s Love

And just loving on the kids…

This was a good start to Month One…

From there we set on an bike ride adventure

For 30 plus miles and my one accident…

Ending with sore butts and new found hope for all.

Veera Phong’s house was next on the list…

We ministered to kid’s during school

Teaching the body parts game,

Link Tag, Duck Duck goose,

Were a few games we played…..

We were even asked for our autographs.

The Promise Land is the future site

Of a children’s home…

While at the Promise land

We cleared and cleared some more…

Red ants, snakes, and all.

I faced fears

With hiking in a cave

To the beauty on the other side….

Even shared in the joyous moment

Of teammates being baptized.

Month one had a lot of memories

From riding elephants,

Hiking to waterfalls,

Praying over Burma

Riding a speed boat to Loas

I could go on and on…

Now we head to the border of Cambodia

To our second ministry site…

Phnom Penh here we are…

Here we taught English,

Played a little soccer

Taught the banana dance at English night

Along with the concentration game.

We brought the message at the Wesleyan Church

Along with singing a few songs.

A few days we served at a Soup Kitchen

Were we delivered meals

To the AIDS and Children hospital.

We did village ministry

Were my heart fell in love

I played a clapping game

With the kids while we sang

“Jesus Love me

We attended a Korean Christian Concert…

You definitely could feel God’s love

We sang and danced for

Two nights straight.

We had time to do some site seeing…

Visited a few historical places

From the Killing Fields and S 21

To the Riverfront…

Rolling skating as a team

And then to top it off a

Little shopping at the Russian market.

We are rewinding down the month

Here in Cambodia

As we set off to Australia
