WOW I cannot believe that this month has already ended. We had amazing contacts, Ray and Candace Ward, they founded Outpour Movement. Their hearts poured out to us this month and help us grow closer to God.
Here is a re-wrap of the month:
We started the month as a whole squad getting prepared for the next 11 months. We were in Phuket, Thailand for that, it was a great time to worship as a squad. After a week of training, my team set off to Chaing Mai, Thailand; where we met Ray and Candace Ward and their team. This month has been busy, rewarding, amazing, life changing, and adventurous.
We started out ministering to children from the Bur-mese Border who were beggars, homeless, and involved in so much more. We stay at the Drop-in center for a week; there we met children who opened my eyes up to a whole new world. To know what they are put through each day, was heart wrenching to me. No matter what their issues where they came in with smiles, laughter, joy and love each day ready to receive love from us. Each day we played games, danced, sung songs, told bible stories, and just shared God’s love with them.

While we were there, we took an afternoon to go into Burma to pray over the city and just to see what the kids go through. God spoke to me that there was going to be a flood coming to the city that was going to wash it clean of any wrong doings, after the flood God was going to let the sun shine bright on the city and a rainbow would shine bring the meaning of hope to those around them. COUNTRY NUMBER TWO FOR THE MONTH…

After leaving the DIC we as a team took a 40 mile bike ride to Laos– COUNTRY NUMBER THREE FOR THE MONTH… While on the bike ride we prayed through the towns that we went through. We prayed that God’s light would shine through Thailand and that so many people would experience His love. God reminded me that He created all the sites and beautiful scenery that we were seeing on this bike ride. His presents was already in place in the area we rode through. After having a bike accident, He really showed me that with His strength by my side anything was possible. I am okay just had a few bruises and cuts. After getting to a small town in Thailand we took a boat to Laos, which was an experience. We prayed over Laos that God’s light would come present in the people that live there.

Next we headed back to Chaing Mai, on the way there we stopped and rode elephants… That was and experience.

After a few days of rest and preparation for our next ministry with the Wards, we head to Meloani Thailand. There we met Willa Pong and his family, they ministry to mountain villages and children in schools. So for a few days we went to the schools and did programs, were we shared bible stories, games, dances, and singing. We were even asked for autographs at one school, God gave me the courage to speak at one school. I spoke about school and that when things are tough to pray to God because He could get you through anything. I also taught them a Jesus cheer. I also experienced my first Thai /Karen worship service on Sunday, my team and I sung songs and brought the church message for the day. It was a great experience.

After leaving Willa Pong’s, we headed to the Promise Land, which is going to be a children’s home in the future. It is one of Ray and Candace dreams; there we cleared land so that they could get ready to build a fence along the property line. We also prayed and worshiped over the land. God showed me a seed, which I am taking as He is confirming that we planted a seed of His love in Thailand this month.

Then on the way home we hiked to a cave, it was beautiful and breath taking. I faced a fear of mind while walking through the cave; I am not a particular fan of close corners and not being able to see the other end. With God’s help I conquered a fear and made it through the cave to the other side and then back. An experience I will never forget. It was also great to see some of my fellow teammates be baptized in the river at the cave.

That pretty much wraps up Month 1 in Thailand. Sorry for the long blog, a video is in the making about the month. If you would like to learn more about Ray and Candace Ministry or donate to their ministry go to

Until next time…God Bless and take care.
