Known to some as Rebekah, I gave her the nickname “Bex” a while back. Strong and wise, beautiful and caring, she is a gift to our Squad. Bex was my team leader back on Anchor Depths and, during month 4, she was raised up to be one of three Squad Leaders.

Rebekah came on the Race under the worst of circumstances- right after the death of a dear friend, and I had the honor of walking with her through that grief during the first four months of the Race. The testimony of her reliance on the Lord during the worst of times is a testimony of God’s goodness, grace, and strength.

Bex radiates peace, literally, at all times. It’s obvious this peace comes from the Holy Spirit and she would never claim it to be her own.

Bex is a free spirit. She dances for the Lord and her freedom in worship inspires and emboldens others to step out into the new.

Rebekah brings wisdom and words from God. Ever since training camp, I have known her to speak His words into situations, bringing light even in the darkest times of uncertainty.
