I never expected to be on a co-ed team. You could say I was a little surprised when, during team changes month 4, I was placed on a team with Nano, Conner, and Caleb (along with my girls, Mariah and Emily).
I wasn’t sure how this would go… I loved my all-female team (Anchor Depths)- and I assumed I wouldn’t feel the same support and acceptance I felt from my first team- if only because guys couldn’t possibly understand me like my girlfriends can.
Praise God, I was wrong. God has perfectly orchestrated my entire Race, and that includes my teams. Anchor Depths was just the team I needed to begin the Race, and Dynamic Pursuit is just the team I need to finish strong- and a huge part of that is the co-ed aspect.
I have learned more from these men than I ever expected to learn. They are awesome men of God and great friends!
