Welcome to 2012….
I can’t believe it but my squad & I have been home in the states (and Canada & Ireland) for 6 months! Crazy! Last year at this time I was hugging & kissing all my babies at Door of Hope Orphanage in South Africa. (I miss that place like crazy!) WOW, 6 months after flying home from LA I am sitting at Starbucks enjoying a frappe on a “warm” 45 degree day in Western NY. I thought that all of my amazing blog readers & supporters would like an update so… drumroll….. here you go!
I’m back living in my adorable small town of Clarence Center & I am soaking up time with my family. The holiday season was beautiful, calm & wonderful and God really blessed me with cherishing many moments with my loud, crazy family. I love them so much & am honored to call each of them family!
God has blessed me with friends visiting and getting to share with many of them what happened on the race. God even surprised me by having strangers at starbucks listen to my story. Then one woman gave me $50 towards my next mission trip!
I’ve loved keeping up with World Racers through my wonderful teammates who have been squad leading new squads! Maybe someday I’ll do that too… lol.
I am currently getting healthy, spending time being trained and spoiled by God and I look forward to wherever He sends me next! Though I know that I will be home for at least the next 8 months. Then only God knows! His surprises, blessings and favor pour over me as I bask in His sunshine!
