This month God taught me a lot about intercession. I had always looked at my sister as the intercessor and I was at the small beginning stages of prophecy. God really broke me in that and showed me how the two fit together and how to go deeper in both. On July 15th God laid it upon my heart to start intercession for my husband. I was like, “Last I checked God I have no prospects and plus God I don’t even now what he’s like or who in the world he is!� God’s very direct reply was, “I know who He is, I know him intimately and he needs your prayers now. You need to start lifting him up in prayer now so that you will both be stronger when I do have you meet. He’s going through a lot and needs your prayers, you HAVE TO start this now and continue it everyday of your life.� (God)
God totally blew me away with that. I made a list of things to pray over him and had the guys on my team add their own items (always good to get a guys view and opinion). I’ve been praying them over him, inercesseding specific things that God lays on my heart as the Lord gives them to me and it’s amazing.

God showed me that as I use the gift of intercession it will help me grow in my prophetic gifting because it helps me to hear God’s voice more clearly. It’s been an amazing month of personal growth and my team’s come a long way too. Please continue to keep us all in prayer!
