Happy 4th of July everyone!
I can’t wait to hear from all of you and here the crazy 4th of July stories that will come out of a day filled with family and fireworks! So please, comment on the blog and share YOUR stories! I’d love to hear all of them!! Today I’m dressing up to head to a family party honoring my amazing grandfather who everyone refers to as Grumpy (even though hes not). Grumpy and my beautiful step- grandma, Margret are heading down to Florida where they will escape NY’s cold, COLD WINTERS and enjoy the sunshine! While I am very happy for them I will greatly miss both of them. They married about 5 years ago years after they were high school sweethearts, raised their own families and were widowed. I will have to write their story down sometime… but not now. (I’m not the best at the whole makeup thing and need to allow myself lots of time to “get it right”, lol.)
Also I wanted to thank all of those who fought overseas and in the USA for giving me freedom. Words could never thank you enough for fighting for me.
And last but never least, thank you to all of you who have donated to next years non-profit race around the world. You have allowed me to help so many people who without you and your financial donation &prayers, could have never been reached.
Next year (if $13,000 more comes in) I will be in Uganda protecting African children from human trafficing and teaching at their schools. Thanks again to all, and please stay safe!
