Angela Tibbo is one of the most wonderful people in the whole world. And it just so happens that she is on my squad. I have had the opportunity to see her grow and change to become more like the woman God has intended her to be. She is caring, and giving. She is willing to do things for others all of the time, and she is very supportive and encouraging. There have been many times when I have gone to her and asked her for advice and for prayer. She has taught me a lot, and demonstrated God’s love by her dedicated friendship with me. While I was having my rough time in India she helped me through many tears, fears and my depressive state. She has the best laugh, and does the best Chincha goat impression I have ever heard. She seriously sounds just like them. She has come on the World Race this year expecting God to provide for her every need. She began in January with just $4500 in her support account, not knowing where the other $9300 was going to come from. God has provided miraculously for her this year, and He is going to continue to do so for her.
We are only 8 days until the end of the race, and she still needs $770 (that’s right, less than $1000!) to top up the account. If she can raise more than that she would be able to get reimbursed for vaccinations, insurance and her flights to training and to the start and finish of the race. How cool would that be if God would provide that for her too?
Angie loves God with all of her heart. It is so evident in the way she talks and the way she acts. Not having to think about this remaining money would be such a relief of stress for her, as she is returning home, and as she begins to process and understand what she just went though this year.
