Just a quick update for you all. We are leaving for India this weekend, in 2 shifts. We will be there for the next 5 weeks working with orphanages and lepor colonies. We will have restricted internet access so there will likely be no blogs for a while.
This past week we had a traumatic event occur at the hostel we were staying at. Our whole group, with the exception of Patrice’s team was held up at gunpoint in our hostel and a lot of our stuff was taken. Fortunately we are all safe, and the passports that were taken have been replaced. I personally lost my big bag that had all my clothes, tent, sleeping mat, toiletries etc. I also lost my camera and the memory card that was in it. God did do some miracles though, I found my passport that I thought was missing, the robbers took my wallet but dropped it outside WITH my money still in it, and the next day I found my memory card with half of my pictures from the year sitting underneath where we had been sitting and I know that they didn’t throw it at us. I think God gave me my pictures back. There are many who had things taken, but we are all going to be ok. Thanks for all the support thus far.
