Hey! So here is another update.
-We arrived in South Africa for debrief on April 18th.
-My team stayed in Nelspruit for the month doing ministry in Back Door (a small community outside of Nelspruit) with Iris ministries.
-Every day we helped with the feeding centre that feeds 300 children.
-This past weekend we went to a small community about an hour and a half away called Block A. We had a conference at the Iris church there. Many of our team taught, and we went door to door inviting people to come. This was a fabulous time, the people are friendly and very hospitible.
-Yesterday we made plans to preach in schools with some pastors who do this regularly, and plans to play with children in the hospitals and at preschools.
-This morning Rubie and Mark went to the school and did just that.
-HOWEVER last night Mark and Steve came in from helping Lynne our contact here with something and announced that today we would be leaving for Mozambique for the next week and a half. We will be going into the bush and showing the Jesus film. We don’t know a lot about it, since our contact there hasn’t actually been in this bush either. It is all very exciting.
-We will be back on the 16th, in order to go on safari for the weekend and then on the 19th we are heading to Swaziland for debrief (of course, as you can see, nothing is ever set in stone).
