Ok. I was going to write a big blog and tell you everything all nice and flowly and Englishy. However, I am not. I will give you the quick rundown of the events of the past couple weeks.

— We went to Chapare in the rainforest of Bolivia.

–There was lots of physical labour here including: scraping, washing and varnishing all of the bricks inside and out of a two story house, varnishing all of the doors, window things and rafters, varnishing the newly built staircase that Mark made, painting all of the rooms about 5 times due to watery paint and no base coat of anything on cement walls, clearing the land next to the house, lots of picking up of trash, wood, bricks and rocks in the yard, sanding the stuff that was varnished, digging trenches and a big hole for drainage on both sides of the house, and I’m sure there is more that I am missing.

–I was sick the weekend before we left with a high fever and all that stuff for about 4 days. I was ok during the week, and then Friday night I got up in the middle of the night to throw up and that started my being sick all weekend this past weekend. Monday I was feeling better, but got pick axed and stung by a bee both in the same hand. I came home early from the rainforest, but only by a couple days.

–The highlight of the days in the rainforest was community bathing in the river. We made quite the scene, but had lots of fun.

–Next week we are going to Africa.

–My teammate Rubie, who was planning on only staying with us until the end of this time in Bolivia since she has been a missionary in Peru since September and joined with us in January while we were in Peru has decided to stay with us for the whole year! This is very exciting. She needs money. Please support her at www.rubiepalmer.theworldrace.org She is an awesome girl and God is doing a lot through her this year. She has a video. Go watch it.

–Keep praying for me.

Alright, I wish this was better, but as explained, I am still fighting something off and so my energy and ambition is wearing down. Thanks for all your support!
