Anyone who knows me knows that I can’t sit still. Some might call it ADD, but I like to call it a Holy Restlessness. I just like to always be busy. The heart I have for serving comes out of this constantly moving state I find myself in and I feel energized when my busy-ness involves loving on and serving another human being. Now, I can go and go and go…but when it comes time to rest, I also rest….really hard (I have been known to fall asleep in the middle of a crowd with loud music blaring; out cold). I live for naps and I love my quiet time and I try to keep a good balance of both in my life.
God made me this way for a purpose and He has found a way to use these restless hands. Over the last few years, God has given this restless adventurer a heart for missions. Since my first trip in 2009, I haven’t been able to sit still. My mind constantly wonders about other places and the people there and what God is like to them there. And here I am now, preparing for the trip of a lifetime called the World Race. He has created a perfect time in my life to go on this incredible Adventure and be His hands and feet around the world with others who have the same heart. I canNOT wait to be on the move for Him and use the momentum He has given me to serve the nations and pour out His love to those lost in the dark.
