Africa was by far the contient I was most excited for on the race, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way so far. We are living at an orpanage (which means lots of play time with the kiddos every day), working with local churches and pastors, pacticing our swahili, dancing in church, learning to mix cement and lay bricks, and sharing the love of Jesus. We have cold showers, no electricity, sleep in our tents to avoid mosquitoes, and red African dirt sticks to everything. I love every single minute.
