Team Siloam has enjoyed our time doing ministry in Thailand. New culture, new language, and best of all, new food! This month, we've been working with a small house church in Nakhon Phanom, right on the border with Laos. With Pastor Sam and our translator, Yod, we've been going out to surrounding villages and making home visits.

Our translator Yod, Pastor Sam, and Sam's wife Nak.
A lot of the people we've been meeting and talking with are men and women who know Jesus and used to go to church, or are interested in learning more. We've been able to see a more traditional side of Thailand and get involved in some fun relationships with the locals.

Making our own chopsticks out of bamboo.
During our free time, we've enjoyed exploring the markets, running along the Mekong River, meeting and talking with locals, and eating a lot of really amazing food (crickets included!).

Scooters are everywhere!
The ministry this month has been a challenging and growing experience. We've begun to build relationships with the people we visit and its been amazing to share who Jesus is with people who have never heard of him. My new team is incredible and I'm looking forward to continuing to do life and ministry alongside all of them in the coming weeks and months!

A few prayer requests:
Please pray for continued spiritual renewal in my life. I'm eager to continue growing and seeking the Lord, but am currently experiencing a dry season in my relationship with Him.
Also, please continue to lift up my team and the ministry that we're partnering with. Thailand is a very buddhist country and we would love to see the church we're working with grow as people encounter the Living God.
Much Love!
