This month our original route was changed and instead of heading to Kosovo our team was sent to Greece to serve the Refugees at the Macedonian/Greek border. We did not know what to expect, what to feel our how to even begin to help.

But these past two weeks have held a lot of FIRSTs. We have gotten a first hand experience into this world crisis by listening to individual stories and unfortunately seeing people flee their home in hopes of a better life that promises safety for them and their families.

We have gotten to partner with the Lord and become the hands and feet of Jesus to these people. We have handed out more pairs of hats and gloves ,in the dead of night, then I can even count. I have had the opportunity to carry a baby to the border for a mother who needed at least a couple minutes of rest.

Our hearts have been broken more then a couple of times for the refugees. But the good new is that we have Hope that their is a God who cares for them that goes before them.

I could go on about these past couple of weeks but below is a video of a refugee taken the day before the camp was evacuated. His face is not shown because he is being looked for by terrorist groups back home. I got to share the gospel with a couple of these men and had the opportunity to give them a bible. That day I thought I would see him again that next morning but now I can only have faith that the Lord goes with them and keep hope in the fact that I will see them in heaven one day.
