So, my team has been given assignment to go to a small Filipino island and work with International Care Ministries. I appreciate the prayer that has been issued on my behalf and hope that it continues, because we are going to need it! I’m not sure what the conditions will be like, so you might not hear from me for a while.
Manila has been beautiful and hot, but mostly fun and a catalyst for change. I have gone through a lot of emotional change over the past few days, and now I really know the meaning of “I will go, Lord send me.” When I was in comfort, it was so easy to say that there was nothing that I couldn’t do for the Lord. It is different now, because I am uncomfortable and tired and sweaty and unsure of what is to come.
All I have to say about all of that is that the Lord is good and He is real and beautiful and everything that I could possibly ever need. I am excited to see what the Lord uses me to do in ICM. Pray that my team would have unity and that the Lord would lead me in anything that needs to happen.
