We are surronded by sugarcane fields and there is a special kind of peace that settles on this place. We are living in a small village in Cambodia, about an hour outside of Phnom Penh. And we live in a house on stilts, which is quite common because during the rainy season the only mode of transportation is a boat.

We live with a young couple, Umong and Nary, whose ministry is to teach English to the children of the village; and through teaching English to these children they are able to share the love of Jesus.

Because of the language barrier, we have really been learning what it means to share Jesus not through words but through actions and in love. And these children have certainly made it easy to Just Love.

Here are some of the faces of the children we get to love on everyday:

UPDATE!

I am only about $1,250 away from being fully-funded for this trip! The 22nd of this month will be my 22nd birthday (yay for golden birthdays!) and I am asking for $22 on the 22nd for my 22nd birthday to help me to meet my final deadline.

Raising financial support has been such a lesson in the faithfulness of God and it has birthed in my a spirit of gratefulness. It has been truly amazing to see my account go from $0 to $14,250! So I want to thank all of my supporters for letting God use you to birth this grateful spirit in me and teach me how to surrender control and trust in Him. THANK YOU!

LATEST UPDATE!

Thank you so much to all of you who donated even more to my trip this last month! As it stands, I need about $1,058.93 to be fully-funded. It is so cool to see the ways that God works, and I know that this amount is nothing to him and that he will provide!

Now off to Africa!
