Hey everyone!
WOW! I can't even believe that I am leaving for Atlanta the day after tomorrow! Besides pinching myself to make sure all this is actually happening, I've been spending my time packing (which is no easy feat btw!), packing my things up that are staying here, tying up loose ends, spending as much time as I can with family and friends, and trying to take all this in. In case you don't know, I am NOT a detailed person and I really don't like long to-do lists and let me tell you…my list has been loooooong. Needless to say, this last stretch of preparations post training camp has been ROUGH! I have been stressed, overwhelmed, excited, sad, focused, distracted…pretty much have felt almost every emotion yet I have felt numb at times. Basically, Ive been kind of a hot mess.
HOWEVER, God has been so extremely faithful even in the times I have felt crazy stressed out, when I have been afraid, when I have been sad, on the days when I felt like I just couldn't wait for September 5th to get here, and on the days when I begged God for more time. He has been faithful to provide every singly penny I need to get to launch. He has provided sweet friends and family that pray for me and support me. He provided me a best friend who has seen me in all my chaos and reminded me that God is faithful.
Basically, its been hard BUT in the end, I LACK NOTHING. In the end, I AM READY FOR THE MOST AMAZING YEAR OF MY LIFE SO FAR!

So, here are some details you have been waiting for. I am leaving for Atlanta on Thursday the 5th with my best friend. Then on Saturday, the 7th, I meet up with my squad for a few more days of training. Then, on the 10th I will be flying to Beijing! More details on where we will be and what we will be doing soon!
NEW NEWS, is that I have a new travel insurance. AIM (Adventures in Missions) has spent a lot of time researching the best coverage for us based on the what we are doing and the new option they have given us is the very best they have found. Because this new insurance plan is more costly, they have allowed us to fundraise for it as well. So, Adventures in Missions will pay for my travel insurance out of my World Race account, which means that I need to raise about $750 more in funds by the last deadline. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me!
Again, thank you for your prayers and financial support. I am good to go as of now until my next deadline hits in December of $11,000 and I'm almost there! Then, my last deadline in beginning of March will be the rest. I'll try to post again before launch but for now, please know how incredibly grateful I am for you! I love you guys!
