Hi friends!

I wanted to take some time to answer some questions I've been hearing about the World Race and what led me to it, so here goes!

Q: "Who runs the world race?"
A: The World Race program is led by a team of dedicated missionaries through Adventures in Missions, headquarted out of Gainsville, Georgia.

Q: "Where did you hear of the World Race?"
A: I heard of it while at a Christian Music Festival in July of this year.

Q: "What countries are you going to?"
A: My route will be Romania, Ukraine, India, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Philippines.

Q: "What exactly will you be doing?"
A: Time spent in each country will be different, according to the needs of that country, We will be working with orphans and victims of human trafficking. We will be partnering with local ministries and organizations to help in whatever way we can.

Q: "Will you be going through any training?"
A: Yes. I will have a 9 day training camp in May of 2013 (2 months before launch). Training camp is held in Gainsville, GA. This is where I will meet my team and it's leaders and prepare for a year a awesome things!

Q: "How many people will be with you on your team?"
A: There will be around 50 peers on my same route. After entering each country we will split up into smaller groups of around 7. In these smaller teams we will travel to disignated areas for ministry.

Q: "What are your plans for fundraising?"
A: I will be doing a few different things to raise funds. I am currently putting together a Holiday event to sell some fun Christmas gifts. I will also be recording a CD of songs I've written in the last year. I will be posting dates and details of upcoming events here on my blog and on facebook.

Q: "How much money do you need to raise and what does it cover?"
A: I need to raise a total of $15,500 in order to go on the race. I will be raising this money from now and will continue while overseas. The first deadline is $3,500 by May of 2013. The money covers everything I will need while overseas including travel, living arrangements, and meals.

I hope this anwers some of your questions! Thank you so much for reading!
