I. Lessons From Training Camp
1.
Breathe Deep and Press In! When you’ve had 4 hours of sleep and you have a 16+ hour day ahead of you, breathe deep and press in. When your tent get's flooded the very first night because of an unexpected torrential downpour and a not-so-secure rainfly, breathe deep and press it. When you are an introvert at heart and time alone to process things is pretty much non-existent and living in constant community drains you, breathe deep and press in. When you haven't showered in days and all you've been doing is sweating day in and day out….realize that the exact same thing is true for the rest of your squad, then…breathe deep and press in.
2.
"Anyone who trusts in Him will never be put to shame."- Romans 10:11. God is not in the business of shaming us and neither are the Squad Leaders, Trainers, or Coaches. NOTHING that happens at training camp is meant to bring shame or embarrassment. Yes, you will be broken, but EVERYTHING is set up to call forth the greatness they see in you, so that you will be equipped to unleash the Kingdom throughout the nations.
3.
(Paraphrased) We are not sick people in need of healing. Instead we are healed people shaking off sickness. We are not bound people in need of freedom. We are free people shaking off the chains. (This got me so fired up every time it was said!!)

II. An Incredible Story of Healing at Training Camp
This is Bekah. Bekah is a professional dancer. We were both on the same squad before I switched over to Route 4. She arrived at Training Camp with a boot on her left foot. She'd torn two tendons in her foot and the doctors weren't sure if she'd be able to dance again. During a session on healing, all 300+ of us stretched our hands towards her and prayed for healing in her foot and ankle. And guess what?? GOD MOVED!! And He healed her!! And on our final night, SHE DANCED!! It was beautiful and I wept at how GOOD our God is!!
III. A Day in the Life of a World Racer….at Training Camp!!
This was the first night. There was so much team spirit and solidarity in the air. Also, a LOT of ORANGE 🙂

Oh, you know, just going on a 30 minute hike with 30 pound packs on our backs for our 7am morning workout!!

But this was our reward, so you can't really complain 😀 The view was beautiful!!

Welcome to Asia!! Where you are served white rice for Breakast….AND for Lunch……ANDDDDDDD for Dinner, along with a whole host of other carbohydrates!! (Dear Supporters, if you could join me in prayer for an increase in my metabolic rate, that would be excellent! THANK YOU!!)

Meet our WONDERFUL Squad Leaders who will be on the field with us for the first 4 months:
