I hope you all are doing well! I just wanted to take this time to let you know about a good friend of mine and how you can be an instrumental part of his life. I met Christopher during my frieshman year of college on a week-long mission's trip in Panama City, Florida with Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru). He is currently pursuing a 1-year stint/internship with Cru where he will be able to share the gospel with people who have never heard it before and walk in the call that God has on his life.
Below is a letter that he wrote that gives you a little bit more insight into where his heart is and a link where you can sow into his life.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Hoping this letter finds you doing well! Because I have always been fascinated with writing and story telling, I studied English Creative Writing at Northern Kentucky University. During my freshman year, I had began feeling distant from God and was wrestling with my faith. I found myself praying “God, I just want you, if you want me. Teach me how to follow you. In Jesus name, Amen.” Following my simple prayer I was approached by someone from an organization called Campus Crusade for Christ and was invited to bible study. God used Campus Crusade for Christ to teach me what it means to truly follow Jesus Christ. As I grew in my relationship with the Lord, I learned how to share my faith and help new believers grow in their walks with God. It has been exciting to see God use me to reach others with the Gospel. I have realized that people all over the world desperately need to hear about Christ's love for them.
Upon graduating I have had some of my written work published. At the same time, my desire to reach people for Christ and to use my gifts for Him has continued to grow. After praying for God to use me however He wants, He opened the door for me to work with the Jesus Film (Campus Crusade for Christ International) in Orlando, Florida and in places overseas that have 8% or less evangelical presence (the 10-40 window). This is a one-year internship that will enable me to reach those who have never been given an opportunity to hear about Christ or experience His love and plan. Of all the places in the world, why would I want to go to East Asia, the Middle East, and Africa? These places are either closed off to the gospel or are simply yet to be reached. These people are yearning for the Gospel!
Zhao Long is a good reason I am going. It's hard for us to conceive that there are people who have never heard of Jesus Christ or His message, but like his other classmates, Zhao Long had never heard of the saving message of Jesus Christ! The country he lives in does not permit it. God used me to work in the lives of these students through the Jesus Film mission trip. Zhao and I grew close and I was able to ask him, “Would you like to know about what I believe; about my spiritual faith? Would you like to know about Jesus Christ?” His eyes lit up and and a smile came to his face. “Yes, please!” he asked eagerly. He wanted so desperately to know! I was blessed to be able to share the gospel with Zhao, who may have never heard it otherwise. God had truly ordained this meeting!
Is it dangerous in these places? It can be. Some countries have little to no evangelical presence but are open to missionaries. Many countries, however, are closed off to the Gospel. Nevertheless, I am convinced this is where God wants me to be for the next year. I can think of no safer place to be than in the center of His will.
My goal is to be ready to report for my assignments in Orlando, Florida by August 1st , but before I can go, I face the challenge of raising my financial support. Like many other mission organizations, Campus Crusade for Christ workers must raise all of their financial support.
