What is abundance … leaving your home ,possessions,family and friends and living out of a backpack for 11 months .
In traveling there hasn’t been a day that doesn’t scream abundant right when I wake up .
If it’s simply trying to get on a bus or train to your destination and no one knows English .
Trying to find breakfast , doing kingdom work – it has Abundance painted in bold letters all over it .
My capability to play charades to find food , clothes , lodging , or learning how to use the squatty potties is so much fun
. It’s hard but it’s amazing
Kingdom journeys . Everyday God sends someone your way if your open . I promise you that.
If it’s the hostel owner , cook at the local restaurant , street kids that beg you to but very interesting trinkets so they can eat that day or simply finding the treasure in yourself. – It’s abundance .
Prospective is what is all about.
The world hasn’t gotten smaller in my eyes but larger .
God is sooo grand !!!
It’s like a treasure hunt each day to find Gods fingerprints over each path I take .
Everyone should do it .
Everyone should take some time out of their lives to serve.
It’s beyond worth every second if you let it be.
The hardships , the tears , the belly laughs .
It’s so worth it .
God has grown In my eyes . He is way bigger than the situation you or I are facing .
He is so in love with people it’s overwhelming at times.
Yes brokenness is there .
Yes times that you want to quit the race and go back home and lay in your cozy bed comes to mind .
Yet it’s beyond worth the sacrifice you have made .
No matter how hard I work , or pour into people – nothing , nothing can beat the life change that happens .
There is no way I can return the love , generosity , hospitality the world has given me.
It’s a beautiful world and I challenge you ! Yes you , reading these words to see it .
I’ve tasted and seen that God is more than good . He is great – he is way more than great he is more than words can describe and getting out of yourself and serving has no words . It just is . God is abundant
It is beyond words .
His creation is amazing and I seem to fall in love with him more each day.
This world is a gift and it would be foolish to not open it and find it’s treasures in it .
The treasures are there and they aren’t very difficult to find .
So I challenge you , yes you to tap into all God has for you . If it’s at home so be it , if it’s abroad so be it . Find the treasures that God lays out before you every day.
It’s worth it and I promise you that you will never be the same .
