I have wonderful news to share with you – I am officially fully funded for the World Race!
All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you. Your generosity, sacrifice, and care for me overwhelm me. Each and every way I’ve grown, every new relationship, and every ridiculous adventure have been made possible by YOU. And I cannot forget that. I am so blessed by you, my supporters.
Below is the video Adventures in Missions recently released to promote the World Race. The video team actually visited us in February, while we were in Swaziland. (That first view of the beautiful valley… that’s where we were.) It features a couple of my B-Squad friends, and describes the highlights of this wonderful adventure.
Granted, it does show only the highlights… my teammates and I were joking that we’d put together a video of the Race’s worst moments: the lice discoveries, the fights, the sickness, the tears, the HEAT, the confusion… though that video, too, wouldn’t faithfully portray our lives out here. This year has been just as miserable (at times) and just as glorious (at times) as life can get.
But this video really is a beautiful representation of this journey I’ve been on.

Note: Funds that continue to come in after this point will still be set aside for me. Should I continue to work with Adventures in Missions in some way after I get home, I’ll have access to that money to cover any other costs/fundraising I might have to do.
