I’m not going to lie there's already been ups and downs in my time leading up to this journey… because the journey has already begun! God has been so faithful in providing for me financially. I just want to thank everyone again who chose to partner with me. I thought I already understood what it meant to fundraise alongside Jesus but He’s been teaching me more and more everyday. He has blessed me and refreshed me with a new excitement about it. It shouldn’t be uncomfortable instead it is a joy to have more and more people want to be involved in loving on people across the world with me. I think I got the best end of the stick, I get to visit all these amazing places and see how the support we raise together is put to work!! But then comes the entire point of this BLOG!!! You get to follow along with me the whole way! I intend on taking muchos fotos! so stay tuned!!!
So where am I at?? It can be FUN to raise support!! I will be setting up a garage sale both down in San Diego and up in Sunnyvale. If there is anything you would like to contribute PLEASE PLEASE let me know and whether your down in SD or up by my Mom’s in the Bay we would love your help and we will get you involved. That’s exactly what God has been teaching me the joy that comes from getting people involved. I may be the one going out to these 11 nations but I need a team here in the states cheering me on and letting God work. The people who band with me are just as much a part of the journey, and though this next year is going to be challenging it is still allowed to be FUN!
We will probably have the San Diego Sale at the end of July and the Sunnyvale Sale at the end of August before I’m sent off. I also may try to do a fundraiser night at CHik-fil-A. But I would love to get more people involved! If you don’t have anything to sell or don’t like chicken sandwiches but have other awesome ideas that you would like to share please leave me a comment or click talk to me on the left side of this blog to shoot me an email!!
As I approach training camp in the next two weeks please pray for energy as this summer is already going too fast for me. I need to pack and be out of my apartment by Aug 1st , so I need some super natural Jesus energy my way to get everything done! My magnets are here so I will be sending those out so you don’t forget about me in the middle of next year. 😉
Some updates:
Wed June 27th I have my doctors appointment to talk about vaccinations and what not
Sat June 30th is my first financial deadline of $3500 and I will be $175 over! Thank you Jesus!!
The last two weekends in July I will be trying to sell stuff
July 11th will be my facebook fundraiser! Donate $11 for 11n11 (11countries in 11 months) there will be an invite coming soon!
