Hello everyone!
The 30 donations in 30 days challenge is coming to an end. The last day is the 23rd, and unfortunately I have only had 3 donations! I still need 27! There is one week left to get 27 donations!! I will admit, I have not worked as hard towards this goal as I would have liked. I have spent a good chunk of my time selling the Threads of Hope bracelets instead of working towards this challenge. And if I counted Threads of Hope sales in my 30/30, I would have been there and done that 12 times over! But I can’t, its not the same thing. If you are reading this and don’t know about the 30/30 challenge, let me explain. I was given a challenge to get 30 donations from different people within 30 days. The amount can be anywhere from 1 dollar to ya know…anything. If you are reading this post, I ask that you consider making a donation. It can be small, like 1 dollar or larger. But any amount, even that 1 dollar, truly does add up! I have 7 days to get 27 more donations. Would you consider helping me with this challenge, and ultimately helping me get to the countries that God has called me to, to help the people God is asking me to help.
Now, Threads of Hope bracelets. These are beautiful, colorful and hand crafted bracelets made by families in the Philippines. These families were affected by the Typhoon that hit their island nation a while back. But now to make matters even more strenuous on them, another Typhoon just hit yesterday! My heart aches for these families. Right now I have about 145 dollars to send back to those families, but I am hoping to sell enough bracelets within the next week or two, to have 300 to send back. It may not seem like an astronomical amount, but I believe it could truly help out some people. Yes, money from these bracelets does benefit my mission trip as well, and it would be wrong of me to not share that information, but it truly isn’t about me, it is about them and the situation they are facing right now! If you are interested, I’d ask that you email me at [email protected] or call me/text me at 315.576.2463. You can tell me what colors/style you are interested in. You can pay through PayPal and I can send you the bracelets in the mail! Please also be in prayer for the families in the Philippines. You never know what the power of prayer can do!

Thank you all for reading. I’d like to ask just one last thing. I went to high school with a kid named James Zuber and right now he is currently missing. I’d just like to ask for your prayers to be sent to him and his family for a safe return. There is a link below to the news story on this. I will update this blog if any major changes occur.
To anyone following this, unfortunately he was found in his car, submerged in the Erie Canal here in NY. Please pray for his family, his close friends and anyone else impacted by this situation that they somehow, in some way, find peace and some for of comfort. It is so hard when something unexpected happens to truly wrap your mind around it. Please pray for them.
(I am also taking down the link to the news story, as it does not serve much purpose at this point)
Thank you and God bless.
