*Disclaimer* I wrote this blog about a month ago but internet was so scarce I haven’t had a chance to post it until now, enjoy my friends!

11 things about life in Honduras:

  1. Bucket showers, bucket flushing, bucket dishes and bucket laundry: all day, every day.
  2. If you are foreign, you get whistled at. Period. That gets really old, really fast.
  3. The people are so incredibly generous with what they have and are happy to share.
  4. Pulperias (like a quick mart with a walk up window that is usually someone’s house) and food stands are everywhere: snacks and delicious food for super cheap.
  5. Animals are everywhere: horses, cows, chickens, turkeys, and dogs. On the roads, in yards, in the ditches, in driveways, on rooftops….
  6. You gotta love rice and beans.
  7. It can be cold, foggy, hot, rainy and windy in the same day.
  8. Honduran driving: there are no rules, no speed limits and if you make it home you win.
  9. The children will absolutely steal your heart with their cuteness, even if they only call you Gringa (white person).
  10. Coffee and cookies everyday at three in the afternoon. That is a habit I will bring home.
  11. God is moving and God loves the Honduran people!
C-Squad had an amazing time in Honduras  last month! We are now in Guatemala serving the Lord and loving the community! Please keep praying for me and supporting me! I still need over three thousand dollars to meet my April deadline! God Bless!
