Minutes after I got the call that would change my life as I knew it, I sat down to read through some paperwork. Amidst all the mumbo-jumbo that was overwhelming at the moment were a few words that struck my heart and have traveled with me on this journey.
“You are still living your normal life; it just happens to be in various places around the world now.”
Today I made the most important decision on this journey, which route I will be taking. For those of you who watched my route reveal live video ot saw the post on Facebook about the 3 routes I narrowed down to, you know that I had some really great places to choose from, which made the decision that much harder! After much prayer and seeking God, I was able to make a decision that I feel 100% peace about.
I will be leaving in August 2018 along with my team, taking only what we need, to serve the lost and broken. We will be traveling to 11 countries over the span of 11 months visiting Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia. We will be helping in a variety of ways such as teaching English, visiting hospitals and orphanages, building homes, and building relationships with the locals we meet. Every country will be different but our mission will be the same: to help those who are in need and to spread the love of Christ to bring Him glory.
I am so so so excited about this journey and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things God does and how He will use me and everyone on my team!
Some of you maybe asking yourself “Why the World race?” I’ve been asking God this same question for a long time. I also asked “Why me? Why now?”
I have found there is only one simple answer. Because Jesus said so. And I can’t argue with Him! It’s time I took a leap of faith and trusted His promise.
BUT, this is a journey I cannot do alone! I need your help!
Will you partner with me on this journey?
Most importantly, I would ask you to pray for me. I want Him to direct my path. Please ask that God will bless my ministry and use it to further His kingdom.
Secondly, if you are moved to help me financially for this mission trip, I need to fundraise $18,100. This will cover all travel expenses, lodging, insurance, and food. It will also go towards our ministry partners in different countries who are a large part of making this trip possible. I do have deadlines, with my first being $4,000 by July! If you feel led to partner with me in this way you can donate by:
