The day has come, everyone–I'M AT LAUNCH!
So, usually I try to give a good amount of thought and put a lot of effort into making my blog posts sound good and flow nicely; but I think I will just write candidly today. I know that I've been slacking quite a bit, considering my last post was at the beginning of last month (I'm sorry!), but one of my New Year's resolutions is to blog at least once a week, without fail. I will do my best!
These past few weeks leading up to Launch have been…really tiring, to be honest. Between holiday stuff, packing, fund-raising, and trying to see everyone I possibly can before I left, my schedule was a little overwhelming. But now that I'm actually at this point, at Launch, I am SO grateful for time I had to be with friends and family; and God definitely has been taking care of me. How do I feel, now? I feel…peaceful, joyful, and free…it's interesting…good interesting. I believe God is answering all of your prayers for me, because fear has been completely cast out of my mind!
Oh! I know that a lot of you have been wondering where my first stop is and what I will be doing exactly. Sorry for keeping you waiting:
This is what I know so far…
All World Racers for January are here in D.C. for Launch, right now. And I literally JUST got word that we are leaving for Ecuador at 3:30 PM on Friday! (Ahhhhhhhh!!!)
In the meantime, I am soaking in all the hotel luxuries I can!
Thank you for following along with me on this journey. Thank you for praying for me continually. 2013's gonna be a good year, guys–I can feel it. I will try to keep y'all updated as much as I can–check facebook, check the blog…
