Well, friends, here we are. After months of fundraising and training, after years of prophesy over me by others and cultivating a love for broken people like myself, and after a lifetime desire for adventure and meeting new “family” members around the world; I’m leaving, to share the love, the hope, the peace, and the grace that was offered to me.
In about 6 hours I will be heading out to India and leaving my comfortable, easy, and overall blessed life to live a slightly less comfortable, bug-filled, dirt-covered, simpler, and more mobile life for the next year. I can’t wait for you all to hear and see what God is going to do through me in the next year! And I’m excited for you all to share in it with me.
I’m feeling a lot of different emotions right now as I prepare to leave home, but the one I keep coming back to is sincere gratitude; gratitude for my donors, to my loving and supporting family, to my hard headed and good hearted friends, the men and women over the years who have taught me to be the man I am today. However, I am most thankful for the work that Jesus has done in my heart to redeem this piece of work called Kyle.
I thank you all for your support; with it, I’ve raised $10,000! This is huge and amazing! But, it’s about to get even more amazing, because I still need $6,000! AHHH. But I believe in this trip, I’m going to help those I can; and nothing save my God himself can stop me.
So thank you for supporting me this far and putting me on the plane, and also thank you for continuing to support me through donation, prayer, and your love. Let’s see this through together, eh? May all of you be given the peaceful rest and joy that only the Father of our souls can bring and that He pours out a double portion of spirit and blessing on your life. I pray that in my writings that you all may be encouraged and brought into deeper relationship with our Reconciler. God bless you and keep you.
Love,
Kyle
