As of right now I am a little over 100% funded and have most of my gear! God has blessed me so much! It is just the beginning of the World Race and having $14,000 raised is amazing. I often wonder why I am so blessed, of all people why am I blessed this much/this fast? There are plenty of people going on this race with me, who are working harder than me and still do not have as much money as me. After thinking about this I realized that the people I am connected to are the reason this happened so fast for me; my whole family and church are on board with this idea and have given super generously. Thank you guys so so so much!!! It is amazing to know that so many of you have got my back.
Looking to the future, I still need a travel account (partially funded), and a new pair of glasses before I am set to go. Pretty soon I will be at training camp (June) and then the race (August)! I am super excited for all of this to happen and especially really excited to meet all the people I will be living with. I ask that you would pray for the other people who are currently raising money. There are a lot of people who are a little behind because they joined a little later, and it can be stressful raising so much money.
