Here is some of the sweet stuff I have gotten to do this year. Thank you Jesus for the opportunity to make so many sweet memories and have a blast!

1. Rafting the Nile in Uganda
How does it get better than huge class 5 white water rafting…especially when you get to guide half the trip? And when the other people in the boat are all the men on the squad? And when the day ends with an all you can eat barbeque? Answer: It doesn't.

2. Thailand Extravaganza: We got to do tons of little fun things in Thailand, so I cheated and lumped them all together.
Water Festival Thailand
How can a festival be on a list of adventure activities? When the festival includes water balloon launchers, hitting people on motorcycles with buckets of water, and tens of thousands of people water-fighting in the streets, it's adventurous for sure.

Limestone Waterfalls
Some of the weirdest, coolest waterfalls I have ever been to. The limestone is super grippy, so you can walk right up and down these things. It was awesome.

Renting Motos in Chiang Mai on Day 1 of Manestry
What better way to start off man month than by all renting motos to see the great city of Chaing Mai. And it's always fun when the tires are bald and sliding out is common. (Sweet action shot of me sliding out right?) Cool temples and a pretty city make for an awesome day to do anywhere and everywhere.

Tiger Kingdom
When do you get a chance to lay down on a fully grown tiger?

Elephant Ride
Ok, so it's pretty touristy, but it was fun to do.

3. Serengeti Safari in Tanzania
Entering the realm of the lion king in a land cruiser with a pop up roof was an absolute blast.

4. The Goa Beaches in India
Is it worth two overnight bus rides for a day and a half at the beach? When you get to rent motos to beach hop all over the place, eat a seafood buffet, and spend time with an awesome team, the answer is yes.

5. Rafting in Nepal
Great rafting, a fun team that was down to experience my passion for the water, and a good buffet at the end of the trip were the themes of the day.

6. Highest Rope swing in the World in Nepal
A 7-second free fall into a huge pendulum swing was incredibly exhilarating.

7. Sihanoukville Beaches, Cambodia
It was my longest vacation of the race (3 nights) and it included sweet beaches, renting a moto, and, of course, great sea food.

8. Sipi Waterfalls in Uganda
Enjoyed 3 gorgeous waterfalls (including one that was 300 feet high), explored caves, and had a blast as a team.

9. Renting Toyota Rav4s in Rwanda
So we meant to drive West to Lake Kivu, and instead ended up going South, then West, then North. Result? We saw half the country of Rwanda in one day while blaring music, enjoying driving, and splashing through mud puddles on dirt roads. Oh yeah, and we fed monkeys with our hands.

10. Carpathian Mountains and Dracula's Castle in Romania
Boat ride on a gorgeous lake, sweet castle ruins, and fun people.

What fun, awesome memories for a lifetime! I have been so blessed to have been given the opportunity to do this.

Now comes a different kind of adventure: Medical School
