Puff puff pass 

 

Usually, you sit in a circle and pass a blunt around the circle. It is a very chill atmosphere, things are funny, and you usually get hungry. There is unity created through the circle, through the sharing and the high.

The Circle resembles unity working all on one cylinder. As a team, a unit, all having one mind set. 

 

This year has been all about sharing. We share our time; you are not allowed to go anywhere alone. We share rooms, bathrooms, and food. We are all basically married to each other just with no ring, no sex, and we don't share underwear. Well, at least I don't. It could really be a reality TV show at times.  

 

The transformation of the mind on the race becomes a kingdom mindset. A mindset that is more than, "what is yours is mine." It becomes, "it is not mine in the first place and I am blessed to have it, so I want to share it." 

 

When we come to a place, we realize that what we have is a blessing and we can bless others with it. We realize what an amazing opportunity we have to change people's days, lives and outlook. 

 

We are given much so we come to a place of sharing. "It is more blessed to give than receive"

 

People in this world have this sense of entitlement thinking we deserve what we have and since we earned it is ours. The only thing that you really have that is yours is eternal life and the promises from God. Those are all a gift, you didn't earn them. 

 

You realize you own nothing. You are entitled to nothing except your inheritance from God. "You are Holy, righteous, perfect in the eyes of The Lord. Beloved, it is your identity that is yours. Everything else is from God, owned by God. Once we come to this realization it is easier to allow God to take control of your life. 

 

This is the reason why it was so hard for the rich man to sell all he had and follow Jesus. It was much deeper than the love for money. It was his sense of entitlement. His sense of thinking he worked incredibly hard to earn this money therefore it was his. He may have, but only by the grace and gift of God was he able to earn money. God gave him the health, mind, and opportunity for it to happen. 

 

God has the reins, He is steering the boat and He is leading your life hand-in-hand. All because we have come to a place of realizing we own nothing, not even our own  life's. That is a beautiful place to be. 

 

I am not saying you shouldn't work and expect things to be just given to you. Paul says, "If a man doesn't work he should not eat,"  meaning we have a responsibility to work and a responsibility to provide. But, with that being said, ultimately whatever we do we work for The Lord and God is the ultimate provider. 

 

What if we puff puff passed our lives. YOU have knowledge, school knowledge and street knowledge, and wisdom to pass on to others. You have a trade, a skill, that was developed in you not just so you can be good and say, "Look at me" but so that you can pass it on. Romans 1:11 talks about Paul imparting spiritual gifts to the people. Yes, we can even share spiritual gifts with people (it is awesome to do so).

 

The greatest gift you can pass on is the gospel. The gift that changes everything. The gift that gives people life, eternal life. I have realized on this year long trip how short life is. Life flies by. In order to fly alongside life you have to GIVE. It is greater to give than receive.

PASS ON YOUR LIFE. KNOWLEDGE, WISDOM, PASSIONS, MONEY, SKILLS, DREAMS, ANYTHING THAT YOU THINK IS YOURS – PASS IT ON TO YOUR CIRCLE OF PEOPLE. 

PRETTY SOON YOU WILL SEE THAT YOU ARE AFFECTING THE WORLD BECAUSE THE CIRCLE OF PEOPLE ARE HOLDING HANDS AROUND THE WORLD.
