Calm down, I’m talking about my tent getting the tattoos! Check it out:
thanks for the inspiration, Rick!
Only a few more preparations to make before I leave in about two weeks! Among them, a couple doctor visits, putting my car in storage and trying to sell the last 10 or so prints of my dad’s painting.
Thank you to everyone who has gone out of their way to tell me they’re thinking about and praying for me today. Father’s Day without my dad is hard, but I at least got to honor him today by sharing a little bit of my testimony and talking about him this morning at all three of the services at my home church. The sermon was right on-point, telling us that God is looking for men to take action, invest in what we already have and drop our egos as we search for our true identity in Christ.
In other news, my mom is planning on hosting an open house/cookout/send-off for me this Sunday(6/27) from about 4-8pm. It will be a nice, relaxed opportunity to see some people before I head down to Haiti to kick off my World Race! If you’re interested in dropping by, shoot me an email (“drop a line”) and I can send you our address!
Until next time, be bold and let your faith show through to your life! Thanks for reading!
