My stream of consciousness would probably cause a small earthquake if it were audible right now.  There is just so much going through my mind!

The eight days I spent in Georgia for the World Race training camp absolutely rocked my world and all of a sudden, this mission trip has an identity for me.  This identity is rooted in the faces of the 74 racers that make up the July World Race squad– or “P-Squad”– and, more closely, the team of seven racers that I will be living with and working alongside for the next 11 months.

Together, we make up Team CRASH!  The name originated when, as soon as we broke from our first team prayer, a WR staffer prophesied over our team, telling us that he could see us crashing life into a kindgom of death!  Just spending a little bit of time with us will tell you that the name fits perfectly.

“The world is unprincipled.  It’s dog-eat-dog out there!  The world doesn’t fight fair.  But we don’t live or fight our battles that way– never have and never will.  The tools of our trade aren’t for marketing or manipulation, but they are for demoloshing that entire massively corrupt culture.  We use our powerful God-tools for smashing warped philosophies, tearing down barriers erected against the truth of God, fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ.  Our tools are ready at hand for clearing the ground of every obstruction and building lives of obedience into maturity.”
-2 Corinthians 10:3-6

Also, read Psalm 91!
