I’ve started getting the things I’ll be needing for the trip!  Everything from a journal to an outlet/wattage converter to Imodium AD.  Each one is just as important as the others, but for a different purpose!

REI is having their anniversary sale on Friday, May 21st, which is when I’m going to get my tent, a new sleeping bag and other gear that is generally more expensive.  It’s going to be cutting it close since my graduation ceremony is on the 22nd and I’m leaving straight from there to drive to Georgia for training camp, but I think it will be worth the craziness for the money I’ll be saving.

God is working on quite a task in getting me prepared for the trip in such a short amount of time, but I trust Him and have no room to question His timing.  In times before, when I have questioned God’s timing, He shows me why and I’m reminded, yet again, that He knows what’s best for me.  I’m just thankful that He’s chosen to use me as His tool in 11 different countries and in a way that will have me continuing to do His work for the rest of my life!

Most of my attention is on fundraising at this point.  It’s a daunting goal to reach even close to the $14,000 I need to go on the mission trip, but I can absolutely feel the love coming in from all directions!

Please continue praying that people’s hearts will be touched and they will feel moved to support me on my trip!
