Ni hao! Just a little update about my long journey and what my month here in China is going to look like. After about 3 days worth of travel we finally made it to our destination, it was pretty rough but pretty memorable. I had a 14 hour plane ride to South Korea then another 2 hour plane ride to Beijing neither of which did i get to sleep. After we got to Beijing we took a bus to our hostel for the night which was very nice. The next day we took a 19 hour train through the night to Harbin which is our place of ministry for the month. Needless to say ive been exhausted and have taken the weekend to relax and enjoy the city, but im super excited about starting our ministry today on my birthday!
For ministry this month we will be partnering with a local church and missionary and our team has an area assigned to us where we will be looking for opportunities to do things with day cares or just individuals. We also have a university assigned where we will be speaking with students using our influence being americans to help them practice there english and hopefully having opportunities to make deciples. We are trying to make as many contacts as possible getting phone numbers to follow up on, then narrowing down the list by figuring out who is interested in learning more about the gospel. Pray for the ppl of this amazing city and more specifically for the students and contacts that will be placed in our path. My goal is to find one person who i can invest in and help grow in faith with our Lord Jesus. I will have a more detailed blog out at the end of the week. Thank you all for your prayers!
