We’re finishing up here in Nicaragua and its that time of the month again, Month in Review blog.  Unfortunately I did not get a chance to blog about Malaysia, but a review of that month goes as is, The Jungle was difficult, Kuala Lumpur and the beach was awesome.  So I’m sure you are excited to get a chance to read about the top 10 activities/ministries/experiences we have had in Nicaragua.  So here it goes, with Latin American flavor, the Nicaraguan Top 10

10.  The weather here is simply beautiful.  It hangs around 85 to 90 degrees and the wind is blowing at all times, the weather certainly made ministry much more enjoyable.
Our teams with 2 of the real life girls, Kristen and Leigha.
9.  Having a pizza party with our friends from Georgia who were so supportive and encouraging.
8.  Watching college basketball and eating cheeseburgers at Terry’s, our favorite American diner in Jinotepe.  Also had the amazing opportunity to meet Eddie, a new believer for 2 weeks now who works as a waiter at Terry’s.  We were able to encourage Eddie has he encouraged us with his excitement for the Lord.
7.  Playing with the kids in Manuel’s (our host Pastor) barrio.  The kids were wild and crazy but certainly a joy to be around.
Here’s our crazy pastor Manuel.
6.  Joking around with our friend Carlos about life.
Carlos and I hanging out.
5.  Worshiping Thursday evenings on the roof overlooking the city.
4.  Enjoying the hospitality of the amazing missionaries, Lynn and Glenn, as we stayed at their beautiful hotel Casa Mateo.
Here is the courtyard of the beautiful Casa Mateo.
3.  Hanging out with the awesome girls from the Real life team that is serving here in Nicaragua for 4 months.
2.  Playing softball with some girls in the town, and playing baseball with the kids at the deaf school.  I finally got a chance to play my favorite sport.
The softball champions of Jinotepe, NIcaragua.
1.  Having the opportunity to witness to encourage many of the teenage boys in the barrio.  This is a crucial time in their lives, and God gave us the opportunity to share our faith and lives with them.  Hopefully God will continue to pursue them as we are leaving.

So thats it for the month.  We had a great month of wide range ministries.  We enjoyed the people in Nicaragua as well as our American brothers and sisters.  Hopefully the next two months in El Salvador and Guatemala will come close to as exciting and fruitful as this month has been.
