It’s that time of the month again, the most exciting
time you’ll ever have between Christmas and New Year’s, time for the month in
review.  David Letterman passed me this
past month as the most popular of all top ten lists by having Cam Newton on his
show.  Hopefully I can regain the lead by
a stellar Thai Top Ten.  Disclaimer: our
month of ministry was mostly homogeneous so I chose to include many fun
activities in the top ten list.  Even
though our days of ministry were pretty much the same, they were very effective
and quite a bit of fun. So here it goes.

10. Renting scooters and riding around the beautiful
city of Chiang Mai.

Cruising on the Hogs.

9. Playing walking touch football in the afternoons
after work.

8.  Seeing the
Thai house parents from Remember Nhu love on the girls in such an incredible
way, props to Titus and Ton.

7.  Eating an
incredible breakfast every morning made by our celebrity hosts, Ron and Peggy
Roloff.

6.  Playing
such random games with the girls every night after dinner.  Games that ranged from patty cake to tug of
war and the made up games of “tiger and cow” and “tunnel.”

5.  Playing
with Tigers.

4.  Busting
through a huge boulder to finish off our drainage ditch that flows into the
pond.

Our group of workhorses.

3.  Hearing
Carl’s heart and vision for the wonderful organization Remember Nhu as he took
us out to dinner one night then informed us that he was paying for us to stay
in a luxurious hotel for our final 3 nights.

2.  Seeing the
Thai girls open presents on Christmas day.

1.  Spending
Christmas Eve with our World Race family has we had dinner together then
proceeded to watch Elf.

A picture the girls from Remember Nhu drew for us.

            Overall,
it was a great month.  Ministry was
great.  Working on a team with all guys
was great.  Thailand set the bar pretty
high for the rest of the Asian countries.
We leave for Cambodia tomorrow, hope you have a Happy New Year.
