So we are starting our third day of being in Romania.  As a mini-defrief session our whole squad came together for two days of fellowship.  Our team was the last team to show up as our train did not get into Romania until Sunday evening.  Catching up with all the other teams was certainly a good thing, but over 50 people in a confined area is a little overwhelming also.  I would go to bed at 1 am and I would be the first person going to sleep, these people are a little crazy.

We will start our ministry work tomorrow after almost a full week of rest.  We are in Bucharest, Romania working at an orphanage that is apparently involved in many different ministries around the city.  I’m still a little unsure of how ministry will look this year.  The director of the orphanage has been gone all week and she will be coming in tomorrow and will hopefully enlighten us on what we will be doing this next month.  Apparently the ministry is pretty well staffed so we will just have the opportunity to join in where we feel God is leading us to serve.  I don’t know what all the options will be, but I hope to be able to evangelize around the city.  I’ll be able to share more about what we will be doing in my next blog, right now I just don’t really know.

One thing we know for sure is the place we are staying is very nice.  Being in a city will obviously call for nicer accomodations, but our place is pretty incredible.  We have hot showers, amazing food, and wireless internet access.  We will also be with 2 other teams so there is a total of around 20 people here.

Please pray for the people of Bucharest that we will be ministering to.  Pray that we will as a team have the energy to put our hearts into another mission field.  Pray also that we will continue to gel as a team and get to know and be blessed by other teams that are sharing this location with us.  Hopefully I will give you all and update soon.
