So we have gotten internet at our camp.  It is hilarious how hard it has been to get internet out here, they have promised us we would have it every night and it has just been comical the difficulties that have come up.  Now that we have internet here is my next blog update:

We are starting our second week here in Southern
Ukraine.  We had a very nice weekend as
kids left on Friday and were not expected in town until Sunday afternoon so we
had 2 days of rest.  On Saturday, we went
and visited the black sea which is 20 miles south of us.  The Black Sea was very beautiful, the people
around the Black Sea were not so beautiful (large men in speedos and even
larger women in bikinis) but we had a lot of fun.  On Sunday, we visited our contact, Egor’s
church.  Although we could not understand
any of the service the people were very glad to see us there and it was overall
a good experience.  Egor’s church is
Baptist and very conservative as they sing old hymns.  The church is filled with about 75 people
many of which are elderly.  There were a
few young men we saw though which was very encouraging.

            After our restful weekend we’ve
started working hard again with a new set of campers.  This camp is very welcoming of us and is
encouraging us to share our testimonies with the children.  Chad and I was able to share the gospel with
10 of the kids this afternoon in their cabin through an interpreter,
Dennis.  Dennis who is a member of the
church whose hosting the camp has been a great blessing as he is always
bringing Chad and I around and translating the gospel to these kids.  Most of the kids at the camp are not
Christian and come from poor families.
They chose to come to camp because it is a week of free meals and fun.

Please pray that God will change the
kids lives this week.  Pray that each of
our team members will continue to a deeper relationship with the Lord and with
each other.  Until next time, God bless
and War Eagle.
