Real Life Training Camp: Day 3
(Sorry for the delay!)
AIM staff and the Real Life leaders started our day off with some incredible worship together while still at the AIM office.
We then loaded up our vans and headed into downtown Atlanta to prepare for our group to arrive!
I was the lucky driver of the van with a fantastic trailer.
So, my first official visit to Atlanta was driving this bad boy around!
Here are the answers to your questions:
Q: Is Real Life Training Camp different from The World Race Training Camp, and if so, how?
A: The two camps are similar in many ways, but also have some variations. The age group is different and participants sign up for specific countries, so their teams are already established based on that. WR teams are developed at training camp. Also, Real Life camps are generally shorter and have some activities and experiences that set Real Life apart from World Race.
Q: Is the ice now melted where you are and how long did the ice storm last?
A: School was closed all week down here after the snow storm. AIM offices were closed for 3 1/2 days. The snow is still around, but roads for the most part are clear. I did encounter a little ice on a downtown street in Atlanta with the van and trailer, which was an adventure!
Q:How is furnishing your apartment going?
A: This is the only piece of furniture I have in my room:

A: I have not yet made the stove-top popcorn at work, however I most certainly have displayed my skills at home! Woot!
Q: what do you perceive as the biggest challenge for you in this new role?
A: A healthy challenge is walking into this role knowing that I have A LOT to learn. It is exciting and humbling to be totally open to learning EVERYTHING from square one. However, the is a lot to learn and I am becoming more and more aware how much there really is to learn. I am excited to learn though!!!!
Q: Do you know how much you are LOVED??
A: I sure know I’m loved, however I’m not sure that can fully grasp just how much. =)
