Happy Mothers Day to my sweet sweet momma.
I wish I was with you today celebrating what
an amazing mom you are.
I don’t care what anyone says,
You are the best mom in the world.
Through all the things we have been through together,
you never once gave up on being a mom.
I can honestly say I have never met anyone else like you.
My prayer is that one day when I have children of my own,
that I will be at least half the mother that you have been
to me.
I pray that I take from you your
ability to love unconditionally.
To forgive even when I don’t want to.
To know when to be stern
and when to be a friend.
The ability to see through the normal “I’m fine”
and know there is something deeper.
I pray that I have wisdom like you.
That when I speak my words have meaning.
I pray that when I have a daughter that she will see me
the way that I have always seen you momma.
That I will be strong for her.
That I will be her best friend
and her best teacher.
That she will learn from me
all the things that you
have taught me.
I pray that I will be compassionate like you.
That I will have patience and understanding.
Momma you are amazing and
I still choose to believe that you are superwoman.
You are beautiful inside and out.
You have a heart bigger than Texas,
and you truly live out the example of
Christ’s love.
Thank you so much for all that you do for me.
For all the times that I have needed you
and you came to my rescue.
For all the advise you have given me,
and all the wise things you have told me.
Thank you for all the times you have taken care of me,
and for being a shoulder to cry on.
Thank you for making me laugh until I pee,
and for always making me smile.
Thank you for all of your support
through these past 10 months,
I couldn’t have done it without you.
You are my mother,
but you are also my best friend.
I couldn’t have asked for anyone better.
I love you so much mommy
and I can not wait to see you in 27 days.
