Im officially on the world race. No more just talking about it and reading blogs about it, Im actually doing it! Im actually in a different country with different customs. I am not in Small town Texas anymore! I spent a day and a half with some amaazzinggg people in Miami, first time there and it was crazy to say the least! I also rode a city bus for the first time and felt like a foreigner in my own country for the first time!

I am now in Quito Ecuador and I have never in all of my life seen a place like this! It is the most incredible city with some of the darkest places that are just begging for the love of Jesus! Walking the streets just pumps me up for what is coming to this city and this entire country! So much is about to happen that I can not even fathom! God is so good and His love is so powerful and I believe BIG things are about to happen! I believe that the darkness is about to become radiant, I believe lonely people are about to feel the friendship of the Almighty, I believe that the hurting and the sick are about to be healed by the power of the One true Healer! He is here and He is alive!

Since i have been here I have just been lost in the way the Lord works! I have been here for 3 days and I say “I’m not really here and this is all just a dream” about 54 times a day

I haven’t grasped the concept that I am no longer at home! We have been staying in a cute little hostel with hot water and beds, from what I hear thats a big treat for world racers :)! We have had sessions of worship and we have just been getting prepared for what we are about to do. Yesterday was our “squad free-day” so as a squad we got to go to the equator…WHHHHHAAATTTT?? Who does that right?! I did today, checked it off the bucket list! After leaving the equator a group of us took a gondola up a massive volcano and got to see a view of the entire city of Quito! I have never seen God’s beauty as perfect as I did on top of that mountain! It was absolutely insane!!! It amazes me to know that the God of all created all of that beauty with just His breath! He breathed and the world came to be! He spoke and things came to life! And it amazes me that a God that big would care enough about little ole me to send me around the world for Him!!! WHHHAATTT?! His love is so outstanding and His beauty is completely breath taking!

My squad is splitting this morning 🙁 a little sad but I am so stoked to get started ministering with my team! Please pray for us as we begin this journey of bringing His word, about bringing His kingdom here! We will be staying here in Quito, just moving south about 10 minutes! Im still not sure where we will be staying but we will be doing neighborhood ministry. Also pray for all the other teams on my squad as they travel 6-7 hours away to the jungle and to villages to minister! They are going to do some awesome things out in the bush and I cant wait to hear about them!!!

Love love love you all so much! Thank you all for your continued prayer and all the support!!! :))
