I suppose it’s time to update 🙂
So far beginning this “pre-race” journey God has completely been rocking my world! He is showing me so many things that I never knew about life, people, His love and myself. Everyday I am faced with something and everyday He is faithful.
It amazes me that god loved me so much that He sent His own son to become man. He sent him to come live on this earth full of sinners, He became flesh. He was born of a virgin to live and breathe only in the way His father would direct Him. When He was told to move He moved, when He was told to speak he spoke, when He was told to heal he healed. He did all of these things never doubting the love of His father. He knew coming to earth that one day He would be sentenced to death and yet He still came. He was beaten and tormented. Honestly I don’t even think that “beaten” does it justice, He went through the most severe and brutal torture humanly possible and it still didn’t kill Him. He then had a cross put on his back and He carried it all the way. He was pierced with nails and hung up, not hung up for a few minutes He hung on that cross for 6 hours and finally said “It is finished”. No human on this earth could endure what He went through, and He didn’t do it for Himself, He didn’t do it for show to prove that He could; but He did it for you and me! As He bled out in pain my face and your face appeared in His mind and that is why He did it. He died to His own fear and Himself, to show us how. To show us how to live an unselfish life completely sold out to His Kingdom.
He knew that one day I would be here and that He would send me. He would be sending me around the world to fight for Heaven on earth.
For new years this year I got to spend it praising Him and giving Him all the glory I can give. I had gone to the Winter Ramp expecting to feel His presence and expecting to hear a word, but i left with so much more. I experience 8,000 people praising the name of Jesus, 8,000 people pouring out their hearts to Him so that He might pour right back into us. As I stood there just in awe of His presence and in awe of 8,000 crazy Jesus loving junkies, I was able to get a tiny tiny tiny glimpse of what Heaven must be like. I literally felt like I was a soldier in His army and all we did was praise Him.
I have never been in a situation like that, where every single person that i was surrounded by loved Jesus just as much as I did, and wanted nothing more than to just gaze upon His beauty. I then realized that my entire 11 months of the Worth Race is going to be just that. I am going to get to be surrounded by some of the most amazing people just wanting to pour out all their love on Jesus and share Him with everyone they meet.
He has been so stinkin faithful in this whole “gearing up for The World Race” process that it is unreal. He is rocking it out financially and He is blowing my mind pouring His love out to reassure me that He really has chosen me.
