Blog Numero Uno…
what i will expect!
- I expect to be amazed. Amazed at how different my life here in America is from someone halfway around the world.
- I expect to be hungry. Hungry for food yes, but also hungry for more and more knowledge of my King.
- I expect to be broken. Broken in to pieces so that everything that I am will be exposed at the hands of God, so that He can put me back together in the perfect form that He has planned.
- I expect to witness miracles.
- I expect to be used to glorify the kingdom!
- I expect to miss my family more than ever before.
- I expect to miss a flushable toilet.
- I expect to eat things that I never thought were even edible.
- I expect to develop a new family with my squad.
- I expect to come face to face with the huge bugs that I thought only existed in computerized movies.
- I expect to learn so much about myself….the first being that i can survive for 11 months living out of a backpack. 🙂
- I expect to be forever changed.
- I expect to most of all expect the unthinkable. God has bigger plans than I can even begin to imagine and I know that everyday for the 11 months I am gone will be a new adventure. :)))
These are just a few of the things that I expect to happen, although I know that there is so much more. I can not wait to see what God is going to do!
