Fun.
Loving.
Passionate.
Intelligent.
Merciful.
Laborer.
&& boy do I mean it that she is a laborer; and not just the kind who works for 10 hours every day at a coffee shop, but the kind of laborer who labors for the Kingdom of God.
Emmi – Testimony from ARADA PHOTOGRAPHY on Vimeo.
Emmi's new coffee shop, Zion Cafe, is not only where we lived last month, but where I spent most of my days working. Emmi's former cafe, WonGen, she closed because a new building became available in the Red Light District and they were able to move the coffee shop there. The new building Emmi acquired was such a gift from God and such a light in a dark place. Zion neighbors a brothel (Grace Bar), and by the end of April our teams witnessed as 4 girls turned in the red lipstick at Grace Bar and left to find real work.
Praise Jesus.

It seemed like God's blessings were endless for us this month. Zion Cafe is just one of the innumerable ways that God is drawing people to Himself in Thailand, and it was extremely humbling and exciting to be there and witness it all.
Emmi may appear to be an ordinary Thai person and Zion may seem like the typical coffee shop, but this woman and her testimony, the places God has taken her, and God's blessing and provision for Zion… …yeah this isn't your average coffee shop.
*please keep Emmi, her staff, the teams God sends to Thailand, and all the Thai people in your prayers!
